Our Dogs

Our puppies are brothers from the same litter. Their mom was a 10 pound Toy Fox Terrier, wire-haired. Their dad was an 8 pound Maltese. Our dogs are now 24 and 26 pounds. They grew! This is one of their first photos. They were such small puppies. That is a kitchen chair behind them and one of the legs of the table.

Their names are Padawan and Jedi. My husband is a Star Wars fan. A padawan learner is a person studying in the force, a power in the Star Wars world. A jedi is a master of the force.

Padawan is on the left. He has straighter, slightly darker fur and dark ear tips. He is our big baby. He loves attention and isn’t happy unless he is on someone’s lap or pressed up against someone. Jedi has curlier, lighter fur and an under bite. He is the quieter one of the two. He is the watchful serious one who wants to make sure everyone is alright.

Both of them love car rides, even if they are riding in the car from the front of the house to the garage. They are always happy to jump in the car.
